Tony Mitchell
46 years of age, the oldest of 4 brothers.
From a very young age he had an interest in the family business and took to the running of it whenever his father went on holiday. His relationship with Dylan, his youngest brother, has always been filled with continued verbal abuse. Tony and his father always found some reason to remind Dylan that he never met their expectations. His relationship with Jennifer started when both were still in their teens. Their relationship grew, resulting in their wedding soon after they both finished school. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed two beautiful twin boys into the world. As a father, Tony provided his family with the best money can buy. He's a strong-willed man who usually gets what he wants, but never lacks compassion or emotion. On the 17th of April, 1989, Tony lost Jennifer after she was shot during a burglary. After a close call with a fallen tree, Tony reassessed decisions he made. One of them was his marriage to Jennifer. He confessed his feelings for Michelle and on the 12th of June, 1989, they married. He was shocked to learn the truth that Jennifer did have an affair and that Dylan was the one that was blackmailing her. Days after Dylan's confession, Tony receives a letter in the mail, casting doubt on Jennifer's murder. Though he can't be certain, the handwriting is similar to Jennifer's. When Michelle faints after a disturbing phone call, Tony calls in the help of an old family friend, Franco Romani, to look into the caller's claims that Dylan didn't kill Jennifer. When he drives Michelle home from hospital, she utters a short apology before throwing herself out of the moving car. Tony tries to stop her, but drives into the back of a truck parked on the side of the road. Though he only suffers a few minor physical injuries, he suffers severe head trauma, resulting in a complete loss of memory. Only after a visit from someone he strongly believes to be Jennifer, does he regain his memory. As he leaves the prison following a visit to Dylan (upon Dylan's request), he overhears Franco telling Dylan that he was not responsible for Jennifer's death. As the number of blackmail letters about Jennifer's death increase, so does Tony's suspicion that she might still be alive - a suspicion shared by Jason and Dylan. It comes as a shock when one of the blackmail letters claim that Franco knows the person behind them.
