Dylan Mitchell
42 years of age - Tony's youngest brother.
He has always been the black sheep of the family. No matter what he did, it was never good enough for his father. He was never interested in the family business. He was always told he would accomplish nothing in his life - that he'll always live off someone else's fortune. He always wanted to be accepted by his father for who he was - not who his father wanted him to be. He knew he would never share the business interest with Tony and it made him miserable knowing that it was the only thing acceptable to his father. He finally decided to break away from the family when he inherited the family home, Mitchell Haven, after their father's death. He spent the next two months working at a hotel on Twikii Island. During this time he evaluated his life and come to certain decisions. When Tony picked him up from the airport, it was clear that he'd turned over a new leaf. Despite his surprise that Tony remarried only two months after Jennifer's death, there was something more important that he needed to talk to Tony about. He admitted that he didn't spend all the time on Twikii Island while he was away. With Stephen's untimely discovery of one of the blackmail letters in his possession, he decided to come clean earlier than he planned. To everyone's surprise, Dylan confessed that he was at Tony's house the night Jennifer was shot. He was the one that shot her. He was blackmailing Jennifer about the affair she was having. She found out it was him and confronted him, blaming him for tampering with Tony's car before the wedding. Realising that he would loose everything if Jennifer exposed him as the blackmailer, he shot her, taking revenge for all the years of abuse from both Tony and their father. Admitting that his revenge came at a price, Dylan handed himself over to the police and gave a full confession. After a visit from Jennifer's ghost, Dylan was no longer sure about his guilt, questioning whether he really shot Jennifer - a suspicion confirmed by Franco when he tells Dylan that the evidence shows that Dylan did not shoot Jennifer that night. Franco convinced him to at least tell everyone what really happened the night Jennifer was killed. On their way to Tony's, they're involved in a car accident. Dylan was in a coma. When he woke, he remembered what happened the night Jennifer was shot. He was willing to tell everyone what happened, but he refused to reveal who really shot Jennifer. Remembering what happened that night, he confronted Michelle.
